The international workshop on “Quantum THz nano materials and devices: science, technology and applications” will take place from July 5 to 11, 2026 in Erice (Sicily), Italy. The aim of the workshop is to bring together scientists, engineers and students from different interacting disciplines dealing with photonics, quantum materials and devices and their applications. The workshop will be held at the historic Ettore Majorana Centre for Scientific Culture. In addition to contributed talks and posters, we are planning invited tutorial-style lectures to provide a good opportunity for researchers and students not only to present their research but also to learn about the broad field of quantum THz nano materials and devices. Invited talks will be given by leading scientists on the following topics:
– Light-matter interaction at the nanoscale
– Near-field optics
– Quantum materials
– Terahertz nano-photonics and quantum devices
– Plasmonics with semiconductors and other materials
– THz applications
– Metasurfaces and metamaterials
– Polaritons
